Pat McGuigan

Pat McGuigan is a pivotal player in Veteran’s policy and has distinguished himself by his persistence and efforts to make positive change. He currently serves as the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee’s lead on oversight of mental health and suicide prevention programs, Readjustment counseling services, toxic exposure, burn pits, the Service Members Civil Relief Act, and national cemeteries, including Arlington National Cemetery. A recently separated Army Veteran, Pat transitioned from his role as Legislative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army directly to Committee staff. Pat has served under both parties, supporting Chairman Isakson’s and now Chairman Moran’s efforts to protect and promote Veterans wellbeing. During his Military service, Pat deploy multiple times, serving in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He received degrees from Northeastern and The George Washington University.
