Justin Olsen

Team USA

Olympic gold medalist Justin Olsen, a member of the U.S. Army’s World Class Athlete Program, is headed to the PyeongChang Olympics in South Korea for his third Olympic appearance. Olsen will be joined by his fellow Military colleagues: Chris Fogt, Mathew Mortensen, Taylor Morris, Emily Sweeney, Nick Cunningham, Nate Weber, Shauna Rohbock (coach), and Michael Bryan Kohn (coach). Olsen, formerly a football tight-end at the Air Force Academy, is now a Sergeant in the New York National Guard, and first won gold in 2010 as a pusher for Steven Holcomb – the most decorated bobsledder in U.S. history. The 30-year old will compete as a driver for the first time in South Korea participating in both the 4-man and 2-man events as Team USA’s coaches shuffled the lineup to find the best team combinations for the Games.
